FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE
Technology Association of Georgia (TAG) publication releases latest issue focused on Diversity in Technology.
ATLANTA (July 29, 2016) – The Technology Association of Georgia (TAG), one of the nation’s largest state trade organizations dedicated to technology and innovation, recently recognized Brooke Beach, CEO and Cofounder of Kevy, as a Diversity Game Changer in Technology in the latest issue of Hub Magazine.
Georgia is fast becoming the place for women and minorities in the tech industry. Atlanta is among the Top 50 Cities for Diversity in STEM and ranks #3 of the top 5 Cities for Minorities in Computing. The Diversity in Tech Issue of Hub Magazine celebrates the state’s inclusive ecosystem for innovation.
The Diversity Game Changers in Technology list identifies minority and women innovators who are leading the Peach State’s technology industry.
“I am honored to be recognized in such an impressive lineup of leaders and influencers in the industry,” said Beach. “Advancing diversity is not just about creating more opportunities for women and minorities. That of course is a huge goal – but there is a bigger picture here. The beauty of bringing together people of different backgrounds and perspectives is in the results – enhanced creativity, better problem solving and even faster growth. There is true power in diversity and my hope is that game changers, like these, can help lead the way for a better future.”
In addition to the Game Changers list, the issue features Teresa White, President of Aflac U.S. on the cover, profiles South Metro Atlanta’s Fayetteville, GA; showcases Georgia’s election technology upstarts and provides a recap of the biggest technology headlines and more.
